Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (or olive/avocado oil)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (or monk fruit/stevia)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: a pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice bananas into uniform 1/8-inch rounds.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted coconut oil, sugar, and cinnamon into a glaze.
  4. Toss banana slices gently in the mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Arrange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through; watch closely after 8 minutes.
  7. Let cool on a wire rack to crisp fully before serving.

Notes

Use bananas that are ripe but still firm. Avoid overcrowding and monitor closely to prevent burning. Try cayenne or nutmeg for an extra flavor kick.
